Sometime in the 90’s and early 2000’s, outdated video games and consoles slowly found their way into boxes and crates in basements around the world. In spring of 2020, Nova and Scud investigated the storage space of their home, and discovered these forgotten relics of digital entertainment.
Setting up the systems, they began the play-throughs that made video games a social mainstay, and not just a curiosity for children.

the History of the Retronomicon
On a 10 day holiday during March of 2020, Nova and Scud decided to really commit to video game streams on Twitch. Mostly they streamed newer games as part of the Can’t Play series previously established, but they also managed to set up their old N64, and played through the entirety of Pokemon Snap in a single sitting. From there, a decision to branch into “Classic” or “Old School” games was agreed upon.
Thus began the creation of the Retronomicon.
